They are: Dr. Doreen Dotalo, who will be principal at Monroe High School, effective immediately. She is currently serving as the interim principal at the school. Laurel Healy, to become principal of the new middle school on Cuthbertson Road.
She is currently an assis- tant principal at Marvin Ridge Middle. begin the new job July 1, working on opening the new middle school in August 2009. Rob Jackson, currently prin- cipal at Parkwood High School, has been reassigned to the new high school on Cuthbert- son Road. Jackson will begin the new assignment July 1 and work on opening the new school in August 2009. Jan Hollis, currently princi- pal at Weddington Middle, has been reassigned to become principal at Parkwood High School, effective July 1.
The principal vacancy at Weddington Middle School is currently open to applicants. at Union Academy MONROE Union Academy students will per- form the play at 7 p.m. Friday- Saturday at the Upper Cam- pus gym, 675 N. ML King Jr. Blvd.

Dinner Theater Saturday Walter Bickett Elementary School will host its first ever Dinner Theater on Sat- urday. The tickets are $7 a per- son and must be purchased by Wednesday.
They can be pur- chased in the front of- fice. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and the show follows at 7:30. The students range from first grade to fourth grade. This has been made possible by a grant from the Union County Com- munity Arts Council.

A fol- low-up inspection in November found 4.67 percent on 300 items. Other stores fined recently: Bi-Lo at 7323 E.
